About Me

Polina

Hi My Name is Polina Keselman

I didn't choose healthcare by accident. I chose it because I care deeply about people, especially in moments when they feel unsure, vulnerable, or overwhelmed.

I began my career in the operating room, working at Manhattan Surgery Center, Mount Sinai St. Luke's, and Huntington Hospital. The OR teaches discipline, focus, and accountability very quickly. There is no room for shortcuts. You learn to stay calm under pressure, think ahead, and always put the patient first, even when no one is watching. Those years continue to guide how I practice today.

As I grew in my career, I knew I wanted to do more for my patients. I earned my Master's degrees from Long Island University and became a Family Nurse Practitioner, allowing me to care for people more holistically, not just in acute moments, but over time.

I later joined Northwell Health, where I completed an endocrinology fellowship and worked closely with experienced specialists. That experience shaped my approach to managing hormonal and metabolic conditions in a thoughtful, individualized way grounded in evidence based medicine.

Today, I care for patients in Smithtown and Huntington, focusing on primary care, endocrinology, and aesthetic treatments such as Botox. No matter the reason you come in, my goal is the same. I listen carefully, explain clearly, and make sure your care feels intentional and personal.

I believe good medicine is built on trust, attention, and respect. That is the standard I hold myself to with every patient, every visit.
